The Indivisible Spirit – Heritage Exchange 2026

The Indivisible Spirit was a multi-faceted heritage exhibition curated by CROMLahore as part of the British Council’s Pakistan Heritage Exchange, held on 10–11 February 2026 at Al Hamra Arts Complex, Lahore.
The exhibition brought together heritage projects, artworks, traditional crafts and contemporary practices from across Pakistan, exploring the interconnectedness of the country’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Inspired by the elements of air, water, earth and fire, it presented stories of history, culture, migration, community and traditional knowledge.
Featuring 68 artists and contributors, the exhibition included paintings, frescoes, Kashi Kari, photography, digital restoration, installations, films, traditional objects and live demonstrations by traditional practitioners.
The exhibition celebrated heritage as a living, evolving exchange of knowledge between communities, generations and regions of Pakistan.
