A New Perspective

At CROMLahore, we aim to provide a new perspective and understanding towards the significance of our heritage. Our goal is to inspire the youth, the future custodians of our heritage, to actively preserve their heritage with an informed approach and understanding.

The Idea

The IDEA is to train the potential human resource responsible for the actual hands-on conservation implementation. This will prove to be equally beneficial for the involved organizations and for the built heritage.

The Challenge

The shortage and unavailability of trained human resources has always been an issue for the involved authorities, departments and organizations. At the same time, expert conservators and historians had massive issues with the quality and standard of conservation being conducted at site.

Building the Bridge

CROMLahore brought the perspective of facilitating these two extremes by becoming a bridge between the concerns of conservation standards, increase in trained and competent human resources, and an informed workforce for preserving the built heritage. CROMLahore aimed to achieve this through enhancing the competency of already involved resources and other interested young professionals.
